Authors I Wish More People Knew About - Long and Short Reviews Blog Challenge

Wednesday Weekly Blogging Challenge hosted by Long and Short Reviews.

Today's topic: Authors I Wish More People Knew About

As an ex-bookseller at Waldenbooks, I had the opportunity to meet many readers who were eager to recommend new authors to me. There are so many great authors out there and this is a list of the ones that I think everyone should read!

Ash Krafton
USA Today best-selling author Ash Krafton is a writer of all things spec fic. She believes spectacular endings make the best beginnings... Why not? One billion black holes can't be wrong.

She's the author of urban fantasy and paranormal romance novels. Krafton has also published a New Adult historical fantasy, THE HEARTBEAT THIEF, under then pen name AJ Krafton. She also writes short fiction and poetry, for which she's been nominated for the Pushcart Prize.

Gayle Wilson
Gayle Wilson is a two-time RITA Award winner and has also won both a Daphne du Maurier Award and a Dorothy Parker International Reviewer's Choice Award. Beyond those honours, her books have garnered over fifty other awards and nominations. As a former high school history and English teacher she taught everything from remedial reading to Shakespeare - and loved every minute she spent in the classroom. Gayle loves to hear from readers!

Deborah Simmons
USA Today bestselling author Deborah Simmons began her career as a journalist, but left nonfiction for the world of happily ever afters. She’s written historical romances originally published by Avon, Harlequin, and Berkley, as well as an indie romantic comedy. Two of her titles were finalists in Romance Writers of America’s annual RITA competition, while two other releases were up for RWA’s Daphne du Maurier Award of Excellence for Mystery/Suspense. She likes strong heroines, wry humor, a touch of mystery, and love that can’t be denied. Friend her at Facebook.com/AuthorDeborahSimmons or visit her at DeborahSimmons.com.
