Coloring Books for Grown-ups #25daysofbooks

This year I’m counting down the days ‘til Christmas with books and other fun things readers enjoy! I love the Holiday Season so I’m sharing ideas for you to fill your holiday stocking!

When I was a child, some of my favorite gifts were coloring books. As I grew up, I felt a little childish buying kids coloring books for my own entertainment, but I did it anyway. I still like to color. It's soothing, relaxing and calming. And now coloring books made specifically for adults is the new fad! All to my pleasure!

Here are some of my favorites:

Be taken away to a calm, underwater world full of beautiful mermaids, dolphins, and aquatic creatures, as you color in these stunningly detailed illustrations.

This coloring book features 25 detailed mermaid designs by Selina Fenech, ready to be brought to life with color!

BONUS This book includes TWO full sets of the 25 artworks, for a total of 50 pages to color in. Page size is 8.5x11inches, letter size.
Over 30 detailed drawings depict men and women in Victorian regalia adorned with goggles, gears, antique clocks, and other artifacts of the steam-powered era. Evocative backgrounds feature moody mashups of butterflies, flowers, and stars with locomotives, hot-air balloons, Victrolas, and other machinery. Pages are perforated and printed on one side only for easy removal and display. Specially designed for experienced colorists, Steampunk Designs and other Creative Haven® coloring books offer an escape to a world of inspiration and artistic fulfillment.
Thirty original drawings depict bloodthirsty characters in all manner of mysterious, romantic, and moody settings — ideal for fans of today's popular books, television shows, and movies inspired by vampire lore. Illustrations include moonlit graveyards, toothy antiheroes, and swooning maidens amid settings that teem with serpents, skulls, and swarming bats.

This coloring book panorama of late-18th- and early-19th-century French fashions offers a fascinating survey of styles. 45 plates of detailed, accurate illustrations include representations of claw-hammer frock coats and vests for the well-dressed man, loose pantaloons and shorter skirts for the working classes, high-waisted promenade gowns for fashionable ladies, and accessories. 45 black-and-white illustrations.
This magical mix of winged fairies, the guardians of nature, is a wonder to behold. Dressed in exquisite designs, embellished with ruffles, leaves, and blossoms, spellbinding sprites flutter across the pages of this beautifully illustrated collection. A host of cats, squirrels, birds, and other animal friends join in the fun. The only way to improve the scenes is to add your own colors with paint or crayons!

Happy Holidays!
