Exiled by Eva Priest
RYNE
I’m found guilty for a crime I don’t even know how to commit. But that doesn’t stop the judge from sentencing me to one of the triple max prisons on Jupiter’s many moons. Caged with other condemned innocents, I refuse to accept my fate. Luck is on my side: I find a way for a few of us to escape toward a blue-green planet that doesn’t show up on any star map.
Surely, someone there is willing to help me free the others…
TAURIK
The last thing I need is to be encumbered by a fragile female. A human one at that. But my resolve vanishes the moment Ryne touches me. As a Thracian alpha, I am undefeated in the gladiator pits, but this little omega has destroyed me with the strength of her will. I would raze whole planetships to see her smile.
I get the chance to live up to my claim when an Intergalactic dreadnought breaches Earth 4040’s atmo seeking my mate…
Excerpt:
A small, feminine whimper cut through the silence. My heart lurched in my chest as both my eyes and my nose took in what was laying before me. With a torn prisoner’s jumpsuit and ash smudging across her face, a beautiful female lay there in front of me.
A beautiful Omega female, my nose informed me. She must have been knocked unconscious in the crash. Her hair was smooth and black, shiny even though it was covered in debris.
The only female on the entire planet, and she was an Omega. On a planet full of Alphas.
A beast that had slumbered inside of me for a long time had roused, scenting the air. Inside my head was absolute chaos. The Alpha part of me was growing more impatient by the second, having been denied even the scent of a female for decades, and the logical part of my brain knew that if anyone but me had found her, they would have killed her already. Killed her, or taken her for their own.
Both options fueled my growing rage, but I tamped it down. Now was not the time.
No one would blame me for blasting her between her eyes and leaving. I would be protecting the rest of the colony, and the guilt weighing on me would have to fade. Eventually.
Or... I could take her home.
