Her Haunted Valentine is #99cents! Feb 1-7 #steamyromance #pnr #ghostromance #ValentinesDayRomance

A Steamy Paranormal Ghost Romance

Now 99¢!

When Wendy Miller's best friend set her up on a blind date for Valentine's Day, she's hopeful this guy will be Mr. Right Now if not Mr. Right Forever. Imagine her disappointment when he doesn't show. Instead, a man named Magnus appears, saving her from a lonely evening. He's charming, he's handsome, and he's single. But there's one thing Wendy doesn't know...

He's a ghost.

Magnus was murdered on Valentine's Day over two hundred years ago. Now, his spirit haunts the inn where he died, searching for the one who can save him from this ghostly existence. The one who will hold his heart forever

Excerpt:

A ghost? No. She hadn’t just spent the most glorious night of her life with a ghost. Had she?

Marie nodded. “There are those who don’t believe in spirits. I admit I’ve never seen him, but I’ve talked to people who have, and they all seem convinced that he’s real.”

“He is real,” Wendy agreed. “He wasn’t mist or an apparition. He was solid and intelligent and strong. We danced, and we talked, and we…” She’d been about to tell this woman about the amazing sex they had, but that was too much to share.

“Come with me,” Marie said, smiling. She walked around the desk and waved gently with one hand for Wendy to join her. Wendy didn’t want to follow. She didn’t want to learn anything else about this supposed ghost, but her feet moved despite her misgivings, and she followed Marie into a long hallway. She remembered this hallway when she’d searched the inn last night for Magnus.

Marie stopped in front of a large painting of a portrait. Wendy hadn’t looked at any of the portraits last night. She’d been too determined to find the charming man who had danced with her. The hallway led to the back of the inn, to the gardens there. When she arrived yesterday, she’d kept to her room, but had seen the gardens from her window.

“This is Magnus Campbell.” Marie pointed to the portrait. “My many-greats-uncle.”

Wendy didn’t want to look, but she forced her gaze upon the portrait. Magnus… her Magnus… stared back at her. He looked the same. The same dark hair, blue eyes, tiny cleft in his chin. The same broad shoulders and wicked smile.

“Oh, my God,” Wendy whispered.

“I thought you might recognize him.” Marie’s hands folded together in front of her. “So, you were the one he visited last night. I’m sorry to be the one to tell you. He’s been dead for over two hundred years.”

“This can’t be the same man…” Wendy blinked and blinked again. She stared at the portrait, searching for some slight difference in the man to compare with the one she met last night. “It just can’t be possible.”

Mesmerized by the Fae by Jenna Edon ~ A Cursed All Hallows' Eve Author Spotlight Interview #CursedHallowsEve #Fae

Blurb:

But it’s not what you think.

I’ve seen what the power has done to my family and I don’t want to end up like them. So I’ve carved out my own path, separate from them and the old ways.

I answer to no one and live a mostly magic-free life. There is the occasional snafu that calls for it, but I like making my own way, and doing so without having to use my power makes my life easier.

Then two sexy but imposing fae—Mekhi and Gavin—come into my life and turn it upside down. I’ve somehow found myself in the possession of a mysterious bracelet that they want back. However, when it whispers to me, I know that it’s not a mistake that it came to me. If that doesn’t convince me enough, it’s spelled to me, meaning Mekhi and Gavin couldn’t take it even if they tried.

They’re stuck with me until they can figure out how to undo the magic that is binding it to me. Only they’re not the only ones after me.

A group of men seem dead set on taking me and I can only assume it has everything to do with the bracelet. But I have not come this far to let them stop me from uncovering the reason this bracelet has chosen me.

Mekhi and Gavin are less than pleased about the circumstances, but tough. They’ll have to play nice if they want to come out of this in one piece. And boy am I eager to play. I definitely have my hands full with both fae.

Excerpt:

It was dark now with the lights off, but I could still make out the outline of Keri as she crept out of the bathroom. She paused briefly at the twin bed beside me. Mekhi was asleep and sprawled across it. She stood over him, trying to figure out if there was enough room for her to lay with him.

After a moment of consideration, she moved towards my bed and nudged me on the shoulder. She thought I was asleep, but it didn’t stop her from waking me.

She tapped my arm again. “Gavin, are you awake?”

“I am now.”

“Oh, sorry.” She glanced around our small room. “Um, where am I supposed to sleep?”

“On the bed.”

“If you haven’t noticed, Mekhi is taking up an entire bed and, well,”—she gestured towards me—“you’re huge.”

“And?”

“And there’s not enough room for me and your muscles, so could you…” she tilted her head to the side, indicating the floor.

“You want me to sleep on the floor?”

“Well, yes.”

“Absolutely not.”

“You are quite the gentlemen, you know that?”

“I told you. There’s two beds.” I shifted so that my back was flushed with the wall on the other side of the twin bed. They were small beds, but I was able to make room for her this way.

She gawked at me, but I knew she was tired. “Do you really want to wake him up?” I asked.

She turned to look at him. There was such a look of contentment across his face. “No, he looks exhausted.”

“Good, then, you’re welcome to join me.” I patted the sparse space I’d made for her on the mattress.

She didn’t argue with me this time. She lied on her back, her body rigid as though she were afraid of our flesh touching.

I snaked an arm around her svelte waist and pulled her to me.

“What are you doing?”

“You’re taking up too much room and I can’t sleep with your sharp elbows cutting into me.”

She snorted, but stopped resisting too tired to argue with me. “Your wife must be patient.”

I smiled, looking down at her delicate features in profile. “I’m unwed.”

She gasped. “Shocker.”

“Are you probing for information about my private life?” She relaxed in my arms, my chin resting on the arch of her neck. “All you have to do is ask,” I said against her neck, my lips grazing her pulse.

“You wish,” she said, but the sharp intake of air told me she didn’t mind my proximity.

She snuggled against me, rubbing against my groin, and murmured no doubt feeling the full length of my hardened cock pressing against her soft ass.

“What do you do in the Fae Realm?” she asked, rousing me from my wayward thoughts.

If she was aware of my response to her, she didn’t let me know it. “I serve on the royal guard. Well, it’s not official yet. We’ve only recently completed our training.”

“Wow, the royal guard. That’s impressive. But why did they send you here? Don’t they have messengers for this?”

“No, this was too important to send someone in our place. It was our responsibility and our mistake to fix.”

“So if you return without it. You’ll be—”

“Punished.”

“Oh, I’m sorry,”—she caressed my forearm with her thumb—“I didn’t know.”

“How could you know?”

“No, I know…it’s just that I would give it back if I could.”

“Well, let’s not worry about that right now.”

“Why not?”

“Because I’m exhausted—you exhaust me. Do you ever sleep?”

“Fine.” She yawned and curled into the nook of my arm. “Goodnight.”

AUTHOR INTERVIEW

Hello and welcome, readers! We have Jenna Edon here with us today. Jenna Edon, thanks for visiting us.

How long have you been a writer and how did you come to writing?

I have been writing since 2009, but I’ve always been an avid reader since I was nine. Over the years, my joy for reading evolved into a new interest and so I decided to dabble in writing.

Tell us about your title featured in: A Cursed All Hallows’ Eve

It’s about a mesmer (Keri) who finds the gift of the fae prince’s betrothed. It crosses over realms by itself and ends up in her possession which of course means the hot fae guards (Mekhi and Gavin) come after it and her. It’s a novelette but exciting and fun and sexy!

How did you come up with the storyline?

I love the idea of having a a mesmer as a FMC. I mean what’s not to like about a woman who can influence others just by touch? The possibilities are endless with a power like this so that is where I started to brainstorm. I also wanted to dive more into the fae world which resides in my Edonverse, so it felt right having the leading men portrayed by fae characters.

Our FMC, Keri, means well. She has this ability but she chooses not to use it often because using the ability seems like cheating. She’s well-intentioned and conscientious…but maybe a little bit of a control freak. And so Mekhi and Gavin come in, turning her world upside down a bit, and force her to relinquish some of that control she’s trying to hang onto.

What inspires you to write?

Readers and Books. I discovered my love of writing through reading books. So, I’m always reading.  And of course knowing how much the readers are enjoying my work is exciting and rewarding! As jobs go, this is definitely a fun one to have and I adore it!

Tell us about your other books:

I write paranormal romance and reverse harem. I have a vampire paranormal romance trilogy called The Hunted Series and a reverse harem academy romance series called the Dark Magic Series. All my series take place in my Edonverse which means the occasional crossover with some fan favorites!

Sighs Matter by Lulu M. Sylvian ~ A Cursed All Hallows' Eve Author Spotlight Interview @LuluMSylvian #CursedHallowsEve #werewolvesandvampires

Blurb:

It’s Halloween and my goals are to party, get a little buzzed, and possibly hook up with some hardbody. But my attention keeps being pulled back to a group of furries, and my friend has joined the harem around some guy dressed like an anime wet dream.

Things go from sexy hot to hot mess when I discover my friend is missing, and that furry cosplay, isn’t cosplay. Also, there’s a reason hottie anime guy is so hot, he’s an incubus.

I need to save my friend, not blow my fingers off in the process, and decide which one of these guys that keeps kissing me I want to end up with. But they do work well together. It’s going to be a tough choice.

Excerpt:

“This demon isn’t Christian, and that cross isn’t blessed. But it is silver, and supernaturals don’t like silver,” Vlad said.

I toyed with the cross. “Is that why you don’t like it?” I asked Vlad.

He gave me a sharp nod.

“What about you?” I asked just as I placed the cool metal against the exposed skin on Biker’s forearm.

The car swerved and he clamped his other hand over the spot I touched. “What the fuck did you do that for?”

“Oh, like that hurt you,” I snarked in reply.

Biker lifted his hand, and underneath I could see the angry red skin, and blisters forming.

“No,” I started. “No, no, no, no. This isn’t happening.” This wasn’t real. The silver on that cross did not just burn the man driving my car like a bat out of hell across town to who knows where and I was willingly going along for the ride.

“Stop the car. I need to get out.”

He glared at me and kept driving.

“Stop the car,” I screamed and began beating my feet and hands against the car. Thrashing as if I could make him stop.

The tires squealed and I could smell the burn of rubber as he stopped in the middle of the street. I scrambled to undo my belt and open the door. I fell out of the car and was on my feet and running. I knew enough back in the club to not take a drink I hadn’t seen prepared myself, but… Oh God, there were two of them, what if they had distracted me? The demons were just a hallucination. I had gone with them to one location, and I was willingly going to a second. How stupid was I? Never let them get you to a second location. Oh crap, I was gonna die. One of their friends had Vin. I would never see her again. She would never meet some nice man her parents approved of. I didn’t want to be killed on Halloween. What a stupid cliché mistake that would be.

AUTHOR INTERVIEW

Hello and welcome, readers! We have Lulu M Sylvian here with us today. Lulu, thanks for visiting us.

How long have you been a writer and how did you come to writing?
I’ve been published for 3 years now. I grew up drawing and creating characters. Maybe for a comic, maybe for future stores? I’m not sure. But I wasn’t that kid that wrote stories. I didn’t start writing down my characters until I was older. And not until those characters became much more noisy and demanding that I document their stories.

Tell us about your title featured in: A Cursed All Hallows’ Eve

Sighs Matters is about a girl who falls in with the wrong crowd on Halloween night, only to discover, they really are the right crowd for her. At first she’s drawn to a group of hotties who are showing off their exceptional furry suits. She can’t help but flirt with them as her friend takes off to join the harem forming around a super hottie dressed like an anime character.
It turns out they aren’t furries, and her friend has attached her self to an incubus.
Other characters that get involved are a not-quite-billionaire vampire, a Bollywood wanna-be, and a swarm of mummy-like demons. Things get explosive when incendiaries are brought into fight off the bad guy.
It is a reverse harem romance, so she ends up with her happy for now, and a bevy of new boyfriends.

How did you come up with the storyline?

The tagline “A vampire, a werewolf, and a demon walk into a bar,” came to me first. I spent a few weeks trying to figure out what it meant. The wolves are the ones who let me know about their costumes first. Then I knew about the beautiful demon. To be honest I didn’t expect him to end up doing what he does. He surprised me.
This was very much a “ride along and document,” type of story told by the characters.

What inspires you to write?

My characters. Somehow they show up and have these situations and they want their stories told. The process really does feel like I cast out the need for X-type of story and the characters respond. That’s how Sighs Matters happened.
I also have characters who are hanging about but they haven’t attached themselves to a story yet. And then suddenly I’ll have a story that has to happen (like part of a series) and that character will step up and claim the spot. They can really change the direction of what I may have thought was going to happen.
The idea can come from anywhere— a call for submissions, a dream, a plot bunny meme on Facebook— but until a character shows up and takes that idea, nothing really happens.

Tell us about your other books:

I mostly write paranormal. I love shifters, but I also have a thing for male strippers. I do write contemporary, that’s been limited to the strippers until recently when I started with some rock star romances.

Holiday Strippers are short rom-com stories that started off with The Twelve Stripper of Christmas. I try to make sure I have a new stripper short every Christmas season.

Legatum is a family saga series that revolves around wolfshifters and the impact genetic science, and long dead enimies, have on theirsurvival and finding romance.

Second Endings is a paranormal series with ghosts, psychics, and love that spans the veil between life and death. A definite spin on the idea of second chance romance.

Wolves of Wet Waterfalls is the first mini-series that takes place in the miniscule magical municipality of Wet Waterfalls, Wyoming. Werewolves, demons, and withces populate the world of this reverse harem series.

Ballad Ares is my first rock star romance. I have three planned, no series name yet, but these contemporary romance stories do revolve around issues dealing with recovery and substance abuse.

About the Author:

Bio-engineered to be the only redhead in a generation of blonds, Lulu feels that “aliens” may actually be the best answer for a lifetime of being asked, “Where did you get that red hair from?”
She did not come into writing from years of scribbling words on paper. Her background is rooted in visual arts and making pictures. Encouraged to make those pictures out of words Lulu began writing just to see what would happen. What happened was two full-length manuscripts in three months.
Lulu cannot ride a horse, a motorcycle, spin a hula hoop, or play roller derby. Yes, she has attempted all of those, even if it has been decades since she’s been on a horse or a motorcycle. She embraces the crazy that comes with the one little genetic mutation and attempts to live up to the reputation that proceeds her as a redhead. Lulu would like to apologize for her contribution to the hole in the ozone layer from her use of hairspray in the 1980’s.
